Daniel Novick and Sarah Krinsky were married in Los Angeles on May 21. Both the bride and the groom are entering their final year of rabbinical school at The Jewish Theological Seminary in New York and anticipating ordination in May 2018. The groom is the son of Diane and Mark Novick of Oak Hill, Va. He graduated from the University of Virginia in 2012. The bride is the daughter of Miriam and Glenn Krinsky of Los Angeles. She graduated summa cum laude from Yale University in 2012.

Logan Maxwell Botvin celebrated a bar mitzvah with family and friends in Seoul, South Korea, on May 21. Guests celebrated with a party at the Jewish Community Center/Chabad House of Korea, in Seoul. Logan, a student at Chadwick International School in Songdo, Incheon, is the son of Victoria Botvin and Darren Dorkin, of Songdo, Incheon. Logan’s father works at the World Bank and his mother works for the Green Climate Fund. Logan and his sister, Natasha Dorkin, were born in Washington.
