BOOK/PLAY DISCUSSION IN ROCKVILLE
This Sunday we will discuss the play “Broken Glass” by Arthur Miller. Recently performed at Theater J, this play focuses on a Jewish couple living in Brooklyn, New York in November 1938, the same time as Kristallnacht (also known as the Night of Broken Glass) in Nazi Germany. The news accounts of the event lead to an unusual and profound impact on the lives of Sylvia and Philip.
Books and Fellowship is a Jewish (yet all interested persons are welcome, regardless of religious affiliation) singles group 45+ which meets on Sundays. Twice monthly, we have lively discussions about books, movies, and/or topics. Afterwards, we go out to lunch at a nearby restaurant.
