Bethesda Jewish Congregation
Bethesda Jewish Congregation is delighted to welcome this dynamic and delightfully authentic speaker to the dais as part of its ‘Great Names’ lecture series open to the community. Among her multi-media accomplishments, Iris Krasnow is the author of seven bestselling books that chronicle the female growth cycle and the angst and triumphs that accompany each. Her writings have been featured in many national publications, including Parade, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post and AARP The Magazine. She has been a guest on numerous national television and radio programs including Oprah, Good Morning America, Today, All Things Considered, and has been featured on CNN. Ms. Krasnow is a journalism and women’s studies professor at American University and frequently speaks on marriage, child-rearing, and “female generational angst” to groups across the U.S. A Q&A will follow the discussion, then you’ll have an opportunity to meet and mingle with Ms. Krasnow, and purchase signed copies of her books. Reservations are requested — call 301-469-8636 or visit the BJC website at www.bethesdajewish.org.
