The Melton school is a global adult Jewish learning program created and directed by the Melton Center of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. The inspiring, text-based course is open to anyone, teen-age or older, in the congregation and in the greater community. 25 session – adult Jewish learning experience
Ethics of Jewish Living and Crossroads of Jewish History will be explored.
Ethics of Jewish Living: Ethical issues such as justice, life and death, sexuality, and community with case studies from Talmudic, rabbinic, and contemporary literature
Crossroads of Jewish History: Dramatic developments, experiences, and issues from different periods inJewish history as reflected in historical texts
Classes will be taught by Rabbi Uri Topolosky and Rabbi Benjamin Shull
