In this week's WJW, I wrote about the Democratic primary race in Maryland's 6th Congressional District between State Sen. Robert Garagiola and Business Executive John Delaney.
The race between the two heavyweight candidates continues to tighten up with just two weeks to go before Election Day.
In the piece, I highlighted the endorsements that both candidates have received lately, including major labor unions for Garagiola and the Washington Post editorial board for Delaney.
Today, Delaney announced that he received the endorsement of the Gazette, Maryland's community newspaper, and he will be announcing the endorsement of a "prominent Maryland elected official" tomorrow.
The media advisory that Delaney's campaign sent out did not name the elected official and the secrecy could imply that it is someone big. A full copy of the advisory is below.
